Fan Translations of Games

Posted 11 Months ago by Lord Denida

I have been playing the two Legend of Heroes fan-translated games. (Zero no kiseki and Ao no kiseki)

I think it is really intriguing. Anyone else ever played any fan-translated games?

Nah, but the first time I played Pokemon Black / White, it was a rom (before the American release) and it was in Japanese.

Kind of ruined the experience for me because that was a Pokemon game with a slightly more advanced plot that I couldn't follow lol When the game finally came out in America, I bought it and found myself not caring for it because "I've played this before, ugh" - whoops lol

I'm sure fan-translated is better than this experience hahahah

Mother 3, the sequel to Earthbound and the final game in the Mother series. A few Fire Emblem games, as well. Pretty sure there were a few others, but I don't remember what they were.
