Next 3 CoD games to be on PlayStation

In case you have lived under a rock for the past week, Microsoft recently bought out Activision-Blizzard for $68.7 billion.

According to Charlie Intel, MS will honor the deal Activision has with Sony, which is Cod game support for the next 3 CoD games. After that, who knows if Sony will get another Activision game again. Ditto with Nintendo.

Next 3 CoD games to be on PlayStation

Getting a whole one game, lol. I have to wonder if it was intended as a slap in the face, if they thought Bungie still made Halo, or if they just REALLY like Destiny.

Just so everyone is aware ALL future CoD games will be on PlayStation post the agreement for the 3 CoD games as well as other popular Activision Blizzard titles. MicroSoft may want the Xbox to be more successful but they also know there's more money to be had in selling games to Customers of a console that has such a large fanbase.

Also, if you think that this makes Xbox lose any advantage it would have by having those games as 1st party keep in mind that all of them will be hitting GamePass on Day 1 so those that already have a GP subscription will get to play them at no extra cost. Kind of makes you realize what strategy MS is going for and it's pretty smart IMO.

Kind of a clever way for Microsoft to push it's Always Online model that gamers previously revolted against during the Xbox One era. Soon there won't be a choice in the matter! COD games will be on PlayStation consoles until it's economically feasible to cut Sony out, and then Microsoft is free to make everything a subscription from that point on.

I don't mind the console developers also having a studio of their own, but I kinda really dislike that they can also buy additional studios.

MS is more open to cod games on Nintendo consoles than activision was in the last 10 years, and that's fine by me.

Yeah makes sense to have it on all consoles. They get a nice profit from Sony and Nintendo, while making x box and PC the most optimized ports
